Your blog is exceptional, an absolute treat. And your completed miniatures output is staggering, seriously impressive.

I just had a skim through the whole blog and was surprised to find that you have only been blogging about your painting for under a year. Again – and I am trying not to gush here – the quality of the content is much higher than I would have expected from somebody who has only been doing it for a short time.

I am going to go back and comment on a couple of the entries on order to nag you about techniques and the like. That mounted Chaos Knight unit in particular has rekindled interest in a back burner project that I have, plus I want more details on how you painted those orks.

    Fantastic! Thanks for sharing.

I’m really glad you like the blog! It’s something I should have been doing for a long time, and since I’ve started it up I’ve found out it helps immensely with churning out handfuls of models each week. I had a quick look at your blog today and you seem to be logging your progress for much the same reasons: to get a look at exactly how productive you really are.

Please do comment wherever you feel like doing so, I enjoy any exchange of hobby wisdom.

Blogging about my toy soldier painting has increased my focus and output dramatically, even though the blogging part itself takes time. My output is a fraction of yours of course, but I guess that most people cant compare their production level favourably with yours 🙂

I will definitely be picking your brains about your techniques in future. I am very happy to take pointers from anyone who can paint such a large quantity of miniatures to that quality 🙂

Great painting and project work – and I appreciate the sharing of the “hobby wisdom”. In a spirit of post-Independence Day reciprocity, please check out my projects at my blog markamorin.com. I do appreciate your skills and work, thank you for sharing.

Hi, We would like to use your photograph of Dominique Jean Larrey in an upcoming issue of Wargames Illustrated magazine. Is that OK? Full credit will be given of course.
    Kind regards Dan
